Ellen White, DMD
Dr. White obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in December 2019. While in dental school Ellen founded and was the coordinator of multiple free dental clinics for children. Dr. White obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in December 2019. Before attending dental school, Ellen attended Western Kentucky University majoring in Biology and minoring in American Sign Language. During undergrad Ellen developed a passion for working with Deaf individuals in the dental setting. She continues to see Deaf patients while at UK. In regard to working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing patients Ellen has this to say, “Being able to communicate first hand allows me to connect with them, forming the doctor patient relationship and be able to address their concerns and fears first hand, thus making the experience more enjoyable for the patient.”
In addition to utilizing American Sign Language with patients, Ellen has a special place in her heart for mission work. Ellen has been on numerous mission trips both locally and globally, dental related and non. “Being able to kinder a relationship with someone I’ve never known before, in a new place, while lending a helping hand is what God has called me to do.”

Ellen enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, spending time with her husband, Ryan, and playing with their black lab, Lilly. She is originally from Flemingsburg, KY but now resides in Liberty, KY with her husband.
